Community stalls are available in Trafalgar Square, at a subsidized rate of £80 for Registered Charities, Community Interest Companies or community groups. It is not possible to sell items from these stalls. Please note stalls are rather large at 4ft by 10ft. If you wish to share a stall with someone else, please indicate this in the contact details section of the form and we will try and match you with another group. The admin fee for a shared stall is £50 per half staff. MarketplaceDue to Crossrail restrictions we have a limited number of trading stalls available in Greek Street, in the heart of the event. TRADING / EXHIBITING REGULATIONS
Before you fill out your application form please read and understand the terms and conditions listed below. Please note that these terms and conditions are for everyone’s benefit and welfare to ensure that the event is a happy, safe and successful one.
By signing the market stall application form you are agreeing to the market regulations listed below: 1. If yours is a trading stall, you are not allowed under any circumstances to sell: a) Knives or anything that could be construed as a weapon or replica weapon. b) Any illegal substances, or substances restricted by the Medicines Act (e.g. nitrous oxide). c) Food, snacks, soft drinks, ice cream, alcohol, cigarettes or tobacco products of any description. d) Any item purporting to be official or unofficial festival merchandise of any description, or in regard to any of the artists appearing at the event. e) Any unauthorised records, CDs, DVDs, videos or tape recordings. f) Candles, hand held torches, flares or wands which may constitute a fire hazard or cause injury to any person. g) Laser pens or other laser equipment. 2. Under no circumstances are petrol generators to be used. Diesel generators may be used only in permitted areas with the consent of Pride London. 3. It is essential that all traders / exhibitors have adequate fire extinguishers for their stalls. It is the trader’s responsibility to provide their own fire safety equipment in accordance with their fire risk assessment. 4. All traders / exhibitors must comply with statutory and local fire, health and safety regulations and with the directions of the event’s health and safety officer. 5. All traders / exhibitors must hold an appropriate public liability insurance policy. A copy must be available on request. 6. No company or person will be allowed to trade on site without the prior consent of the event organiser. 7. No subcontracting or pick stalls will be allowed without Pride London written consent. 8. Due to licensing restrictions no sound systems will be allowed on any stalls without prior approval from Pride London. 9. No third party sponsorship may be displayed on any pitch without the prior written approval of the event organisers. 10. Vehicle movement times and instructions must be strictly adhered to as specified by the market superintendent. No refund will be given for cancellations less than 3 weeks prior to the event. 12. Any damage to stalls will be charged for. Stands and stalls provided by traders must be constructed properly and suitable for the purpose. 13. Load in and load out times, as well as trading times must be strictly adhered to. If you arrive later than the load in time, you will not be allowed to set up and trade. 14. Traders/ Exhibitors must remain at their stall for the entirety of the event unless prior consent from Pride London has been given. 15. All rubbish must be placed in the bags provided. If your stall is left in an unacceptable state, you will be charged a cleaning cost. 16. In the event of any disputes the market superintendent’s decision is final.
